Staying up to date
Among respondents overall, almost half (44 percent) say their company updates its code of conduct annually and a further 16 percent say their company does so every two years. A quarter say this happens less frequently than every two years.
Respondents at large caps (59 percent) and mega-caps (58 percent) are most likely to report annual updates to their codes, compared with 50 percent of those at mid-caps and just 36 percent of those at small caps. More than three quarters (77 percent) of those at mega-caps say their company updates its code at least every two years.
Respondents at US companies are more likely to say their codes are updated each year (56 percent) than are those based in Canada (44 percent) or Europe (23 percent).
