final quarter of 2019

The practice of investor relations varies widely around the world.
Common practice in one country could be a best practice in another,
and companies are subject to unique regulations and investor behavior
in different countries.

At IR Magazine, we enjoy hosting award ceremonies in markets where investor relations has been established for many decades – such as the US and the UK – as well as markets where the practice of investor relations is still being defined, such as Brazil and India. Regardless of the location, however, it’s clear that IR teams play an influential role in good governance and public company accountability.

During the last three months of 2019, we hosted award ceremonies in Brazil, Greater China and South East Asia. It’s always a thrill to gather the best and brightest in the profession in one room and recognize their outstanding achievements, and these events were no exception.
