We have produced the Starbucks annual meeting of shareholders for 25 years, and have long partnered with the company on a wide range of events, including investor days, leadership events, industry opportunities and creative communications projects. Every annual meeting poses new challenges, and every year we help Starbucks present the most compelling details of the business and engage with stakeholders in a meaningful way.
In March this year, as the pandemic unfolded, we helped Starbucks quickly pivot from an in-person meeting to its first completely virtual annual meeting. Leading with its values – a focus on partners (employees) as the heartbeat of Starbucks – provided a mission-driven complement to the financial and governance content of the meeting and served as an important brand-building moment. Touch has been a partner to Microsoft for 25 years. Our partnership began with us producing corporate videos and case studies, and naturally led to our team producing events, keynotes and hard-working breakout sessions for the firm. Most recently, Touch worked with Microsoft to produce its annual MVP Global Summit. We jumped in one week before the conference – shifted from a live format to a virtual one due to Covid-19 – to help execute the four-day event, which included 25 concurrent virtual event streams, 440 unique sessions and more than 700 total sessions, including time-zone repeats and executive keynotes. We have partnered with Ubisoft – one of the most beloved video game brands in the world – since 2012 to produce the firm's annual E3 press conference. Over the years we have transformed the show into one of the most anticipated, highly rated and admired conferences in the industry.
Working closely with the international events, corporate brand and game development teams from their studios around the world, our work has helped the company consistently present a deeply authentic, relevant and inspiring reflection of the firm to gamers around the world. Our work with Ubisoft has inspired the live online audience for the conference to grow from 243,000 in 2012 to 4.1 mn in 2018, with the company’s press briefing regularly referred to as the best show at E3.
