The Zoom backgrounds were ready and the Ring lights were on as the nominees of the IR Magazine Awards – Canada 2021 anxiously waited to find out whether they’d won.
Hundreds of IR professionals across Canada tuned in to the second virtual Canada Awards, held on April 8. In addition to the award presentations, the virtual event included one-on-one networking opportunities, roundtable drinks receptions and live interviews with selected winners. While we hope to return to an in-person event next year, these features made for a dynamic event.
The last year has posed innumerable challenges to our professional and personal lives, and it was our privilege to recognize the best and brightest in the IR community for their hard work and perseverance.
