How will my entries be judged?

Stage 1

Once the entry deadline has passed, the IR Magazine editorial team reviews all submissions and produces the shortlists.

Stage 2

The shortlisted entries are shared with an independent judging panel made up of industry experts.

The judges review each shortlisted entry and select their top two picks per category.

Stage 3

The judges come together to discuss, debate and select the final list of winners who will go on to win an award.

Important things to note:

The judges’ votes are not made public, but their comments may be published in articles or reports after the event.

Judges are not required to make comments against every submission.

I would say innovation / imagination relative to approach, and overall success in balancing investor needs and wants with what is the best outcome for the company. Often those two elements are at odds.

In today’s fast-evolving market, the top nominations will be those that redefine investor relations by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge technologies like AI, fostering deeper shareholder engagement through transparent and authentic communication, and crafting investor experiences that inspire confidence in uncertain times. I’m looking for bold approaches that demonstrate not just best practices but next practices, setting the bar for how companies connect with stakeholders in this dynamic landscape.

What’s the top thing you’re looking to see in this year’s nominations?

I will be looking with interest to see if IR teams are continuing to work on integrating AI in ways to provide top executives with useful information on analysts and shareholders and perspective shareholders, while also using AI to provide analysts and shareholders meaningful information on their company. In other words, incorporating AI into their everyday activities.
