Off-season activities
Almost two thirds of IR teams have a program of activities relating to governance issues outside of the proxy season. This is a global phenomenon with slightly fewer European IR teams engaging in off-season governance activities than IR teams in North America or Asia.
There is a difference in activities according to company size. Less than 60 percent of both small and mid-cap IR teams engage with investors off-season on governance issues while 78 percent of IR teams at mega-cap companies undertake such activities.
