As of May 2022, just under four in 10 IROs had resumed international travel with the gradual lifting of pandemic restrictions. This rises to six in 10 among European IROs, in marked contrast to the 14 percent of Asian IROs who have resumed international travel in this time.
The number of IROs who have resumed international travel is fairly consistent from small to large cap, and even drops slightly at large cap. It is mega-cap IROs who have led the way back on the road, with 64 percent having resumed international travel by May 2022.
