IR objectives by region
Targeting new investors is clearly the top priority for North American IROs in 2023, while Asian IROs see enhancing engagement with existing shareholders as their primary objective.Just under half of European IROs rank increasing international share ownership in their top three objectives for the upcoming year. More than four in 10 Asian IR professionals have improving disclosure and increasing investor feedback as one of their three primary goals for 2023. Increasing domestic share ownership is cited as a key goal by more North American IROs than Asian or European counterparts. Raising capital is the least-cited objective by IROs in any region.
