Satisfaction with company reporting
A slim majority of investors are satisfied with the way companies report on supply-chain management, with 52 percent giving an above-neutral satisfaction rating of 6+/10. This is generally a lower level of satisfaction than that commonly reported by investors on other IR issues. Just 12 percent give a high satisfaction rating of 8+/10, and none give a perfect 10 score.Satisfaction with how companies report on supply-chain issues is higher among buy-side respondents than those on the sell side. Just under six in 10 buy-side respondents give an above-neutral satisfaction rating, while just under four in 10 sell-side respondents give a similar rating.
The lack of satisfaction on the sell side means three in 10 give a below-neutral rating, compared with 17 percent of the buy side. Regionally, European investors are more satisfied than investors in North America.
