Supply-chain issues by region
While there is broad alignment, there are some notable differences in the supply-chain issues IROs in each region most frequently discuss with their investors.
Cost is most commonly mentioned by European IROs, while marginally more North American IROs mention component/material availability than mention cost. Asian IROs are as likely to discuss ESG issues in their supply chain as they are cost or component/material availability.Supply-chain ESG issues are scarcely mentioned by North American IROs, while the diversity or flexibility of suppliers is an area European IROs hardly discuss with their investors, compared with IROs in other regions. The effect of macroeconomics on the supply chain is more commonly discussed in Asia than elsewhere.
